Privacy Policy
Version 2.0, July 2026. Effective upon publication. Aligned with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its Implementing Regulations.
1. Who we are
Rayyanh ("we", "us") operates a platform connecting users seeking services ("Users") with independent service providers ("Providers") in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Rayyanh is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Contact: [email protected].
2. What data we collect
- Identity and contact data: name, phone number, email address, and account details you provide at registration.
- Location and address data: the service address you set so a Provider can reach you.
- Service interaction data: requests, offers, bookings, in-app chat, ratings, and reviews.
- Transaction data: order amounts, invoices, and payment confirmations. Card details are processed by licensed third-party payment processors and are not stored by Rayyanh.
- Technical data: device identifiers, app version, and usage analytics used to keep the platform secure and improve it.
3. Why we process it (purposes and legal bases)
- To create and operate your account and connect Users with Providers (performance of a contract).
- To process orders and facilitate payment after service completion (performance of a contract).
- To keep the platform safe, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms (legitimate interest).
- To send service notices and, only with your consent, promotional messages (consent; you may withdraw at any time).
- To comply with legal obligations under Saudi law (legal obligation).
4. Data residency
Personal data is stored and processed in accordance with the PDPL's data residency and cross-border transfer requirements. Where any processing occurs outside the Kingdom, it takes place only under the conditions and safeguards permitted by the PDPL and its regulations.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only: with the Provider or User you are matched with, to the extent needed to deliver the service; with processors who support the platform (hosting, payments, communications) under confidentiality and data protection obligations; and with competent authorities where required by law.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then we securely delete or anonymize it.
7. Your rights
Under the PDPL you have the right to: be informed about how your data is processed; access your data and obtain a copy; request correction of inaccurate data; request destruction (deletion) of your data when it is no longer needed; and withdraw consent to processing based on consent. To exercise any right, contact [email protected]. We respond within the timeframes set by the regulations, and account deletion requests result in true deletion of personal data except where retention is legally required. You may also lodge a complaint with the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).
8. Security
We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging, to protect personal data from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access or disclosure.
9. Children
The platform is intended for adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and the latest version will always be available on this page.
Terms and Conditions for Users
Version 2.0, July 2026. Effective upon publication.
1. The platform
Rayyanh operates an electronic platform that connects Users with independent Providers of beauty, styling, and tailoring services. Rayyanh's role is limited to technical intermediation: the platform passes the User's request data to Providers, Providers willingly submit offers at their own prices and terms, and the platform provides both parties with communication channels to reach an agreement directly between themselves. Rayyanh is not a party to that agreement, does not provide, supervise, or guarantee the services, and Providers are independent professionals, not employees, agents, or representatives of Rayyanh.
2. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 18 years old and reside in Saudi Arabia to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login credentials secure.
3. Requests, offers, and booking
You post a service request; Providers respond with offers stating their own prices and terms. A booking is formed when you accept an offer. The agreement for performing the service is formed directly and exclusively between you and the Provider; Rayyanh provides only the connection, communication, and payment tools.
4. Pricing and payment
The price of each service is the price offered by the Provider and accepted by you, inclusive of applicable taxes such as VAT where required by law. Rayyanh has the right to charge platform fees, service fees, or commissions ("Rayyanh Platform Fees") on transactions or on the use of the platform, as announced within the app. Payment is made after the service is completed, either electronically through the platform (card or Rayyanh wallet balance) or in cash directly to the Provider with receipt confirmed in the app.
5. Refunds
Refund requests are reviewed case by case. Where an amount charged electronically is found due for return (for example, a service that did not complete or a payment error), it is returned through the payment gateway or credited to your wallet balance, subject to bank processing times. Cash payments are settled directly between you and the Provider. Review of a refund request does not constitute an acknowledgment of any liability by Rayyanh.
6. Cancellations
You may cancel a booking before the service begins in accordance with the cancellation terms shown in the app at the time of booking. Repeated no-shows or abusive cancellations may lead to account restrictions.
7. Conduct
You agree to treat Providers with respect, provide a safe environment for home services, and use the platform only for lawful purposes. Communication and payment for booked services must remain within the platform.
8. Reviews
Reviews must reflect your genuine experience. Rayyanh may remove content that is unlawful, offensive, or fraudulent.
9. Liability
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Services are selected, offered, priced, and performed by independent Providers under an agreement formed directly between you and the Provider. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rayyanh disclaims all liability for the services and their quality, safety, timing, or outcomes, and for any damage, loss, injury, cost, claim, or dispute arising out of or related to the services, the conduct of any Provider or User, or your use of the platform, and you release Rayyanh from any claims in this regard. You agree to indemnify and hold Rayyanh harmless from any third-party claim arising from your use of the platform or your breach of these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Saudi law.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time. Rayyanh may, at its sole discretion, suspend or permanently delete any account, withhold or restrict access to the platform, and deduct from any wallet balance amounts it determines are due, including without limitation bank or transfer fees, amounts resulting from complaints or dispute resolutions, refunds owed, and cases of incomplete, inaccurate, or forged documents or any breach of these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its competent courts and committees.
Terms and Conditions for Service Providers
Version 2.0, July 2026. Effective upon publication.
1. Your relationship with Rayyanh
As a Provider you are an independent professional. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, or partnership relationship with Rayyanh. You decide which requests to bid on, your prices, your terms, and your schedule.
2. Eligibility and verification
You must be at least 18 years old and hold any license or permit your service category requires (including freelance certificates where applicable). The platform offers two account types: Individual (a single account that receives requests, makes offers, and manages its own balance, available to Saudi citizens) and Business (for establishments such as salons and companies holding a commercial registration, which may add staff members who are citizens or residents while financial management remains with the main account). Accounts are subject to review, and Rayyanh may verify identity and documents (commercial registration, VAT certificate, IBAN certificate where applicable) and may decline or revoke access where verification fails.
3. Offers and service delivery
The platform passes Users' request data to you, and you willingly submit offers at your own prices and terms and at your own responsibility. Offers you submit are binding once accepted by a User, and the service agreement is formed directly and exclusively between you and the User. You agree to perform accepted services personally, professionally, on time, and as described in your offer, and to hold the qualifications you present on your profile.
4. Payments and fees
Users pay after service completion, electronically through the platform or in cash. Electronic payments are credited to your wallet on the platform; cash payments you receive directly, with receipt confirmed in the app. Wallet transfers to your bank account are processed according to the platform's settlement procedures and require a valid IBAN certificate on your account. Rayyanh has the right to charge platform fees, service fees, or commissions ("Rayyanh Platform Fees") on transactions or on the use of the platform, as announced within the app, and to deduct such amounts from wallet balances. You are responsible for your own tax and zakat obligations arising from your income.
5. Conduct and quality
You agree to respect Users' privacy and homes, keep client information confidential, maintain hygiene and safety standards appropriate to your service, and keep communication and payment for platform bookings within the platform.
6. Content and profile
You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, portfolio, and offers. You grant Rayyanh a license to display this content on the platform for marketing the platform and your services.
7. Insurance and liability
You perform the services at your sole responsibility, and the service agreement is between you and the User alone. The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rayyanh disclaims all liability toward you for any damage, loss, cost, or dispute arising from the services, the conduct of any User, or your use of the platform, and you agree to indemnify and hold Rayyanh harmless from any third-party claim arising from your services or your breach of these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Saudi law.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the platform at any time; accepted bookings should be honored or properly cancelled. Rayyanh may, at its sole discretion, suspend or permanently delete any account and deduct from wallet balances amounts it determines are due, including without limitation bank or transfer fees, refunds owed to Users, amounts resulting from complaints or dispute resolutions, and cases of incomplete, inaccurate, or forged documents, fraud, conduct that endangers Users, or any breach of these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its competent courts and committees.
